History

39.10 (01/01/2000) - first public release.
39.20 (01/04/2000) - added Rich Text File and XyWrite datatypes and bug fixed other datatypes and improved speed.
39.30 (20/06/2000) - added Quill and Palm Doc datatypes. Updated WordPerfect datatype to support better parsing of WordPerfect documents and updated the datatypes to convert tables to csv tables which is the only way of supporting table formatting via text.datatype and this also allows word processors to convert the tables back easily.
39.40 (10/07/2000) - added First Word datatype and filetype recognition descriptor for WordPerfect 4(which is for all formats including Amiga WordPerfect 4) and improved WordPerfect 4 support.
39.50 (25/07/2000) - added Psion Word and Psion TextEd datatype and support for WindowsCE Pocket Word files, also all datatypes have been updated for improved efficiency.
39.60 (22/09/2000) - added Mac Write datatype and support for Mac Write 4.5 files, also updated the MS-Word support for older documents(less than version 6).

40.00 (01/04/2001) - added support of Mac Text files to macdoc.datatype and the support of native format save for Palm DB TEXt docs, also updated support of pdb text uncompressed files, also updated MS-Word 6+ and MS-Works datatype because on some documents some of the text at the begining of files was not handled correctly.
40.10 (31/05/2001) - added support for Mac TeachText files. added prefs options for registered users. updated PDB TEXt Doc encoder. All descriptor recog. code was updated. Minor speed ups to all datatypes with a double speed increase in MS-Word Unicode decoding.
40.20 (20/07/2001) - added support of saving compressed Palm DB TEXt docs. All datatypes have also been updated to improve speed.
40.30 (06/12/2001) - added support for reading and writing Palm Teal Doc files. DocDatatypes also support reading and writing Palm RichReader Docs. DocDatatypes support MS-Word XP(2002). updated Palm DB TEXt descriptor.
40.40 (07/06/2002) - added support for MacBinary MS-Word files and updated MS-Word file handling to make it more robust.
